Spaceship Alpha 9 is an independent, bootstrapped AI-native studio based in Atlanta, Georgia, operated by Greg Chambers. This policy covers spaceshipalpha9.co and the data practices of this site. Questions go to zero@spacepiratezero.com.
We collect what you choose to send us: your email address when you subscribe to Dispatches, and your name, email, and message when you use a contact form. We also collect anonymous usage analytics — page views, referral sources, and general device/browser information — through a privacy-conscious product analytics tool. We do not ask for, or want, sensitive personal information through this site.
Email addresses are used solely to send the Dispatches newsletter and to reply to inquiries you initiate. Analytics are used in aggregate to understand what's useful and improve the site. We never sell, rent, or trade your data, and we do not build advertising profiles or run cross-site ad tracking.
This site uses first-party product analytics and anonymous web-vitals measurement to understand performance and usage. These may set first-party cookies or local storage for measurement only — no advertising cookies and no third-party ad networks. You can block cookies in your browser without affecting core site functionality.
When you subscribe, your address is forwarded to our email delivery provider and retained on the Dispatches list until you unsubscribe. Every newsletter includes a one-click unsubscribe link, and you can request removal at any time by emailing zero@spacepiratezero.com.
Site infrastructure runs on Google Cloud (Cloud Run and Google Kubernetes Engine) under standard security controls. Data in transit is encrypted over HTTPS. We retain personal data only as long as needed for the purpose you provided it, or until you ask us to delete it.
This site links out to external platforms — Substack, Spotify, Apple, Amazon, LinkedIn, GitHub, Instagram, Bluesky, X, and our sister sites. Once you leave spaceshipalpha9.co, the destination's own privacy policy governs your data. We are not responsible for the practices of external services.
You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of any personal data you've shared with us. Email zero@spacepiratezero.com and we will honor verified requests within 30 days. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the GDPR or CCPA — we extend these rights to everyone.
This site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.
We may update this policy as the site evolves. Material changes will be reflected by the effective date below. Continued use of the site after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
